Back to School!

Back to School season has started again! The kids are about to go back to school. Do you already have all the necessities such as stationery, study books and school bags at home? If so, have you already thought about a good alarm clock?

How do you ensure that your children will get up on time for school? And especially for students who are going to school for the first time: what can you do if your child has trouble waking up? Below we have listed a number of tips to get your child out of bed (without morning mood).

Understand your child

Pay close attention to your child's behavior and habits. You will probably soon notice whether you have created a morning or evening person, and you can then respond to this. If you know that your child needs a little more time to wake up in the morning, factor that into the family routine.

Sufficient sleep

Make sure your child gets enough quality sleep. Of course they have to go to bed on time, but also make sure that their bedroom is dark enough. In addition, it is important that children get as little screen time as possible just before going to bed, get them enough healthy food and enough exercise as well.

Sleep training with their own alarm clock

An alarm clock for your child's bedroom is very useful if your child is just learning to tell the time or has to get up on time for school. Especially for children who will attend school for the very first time. Now that the summer holidays are coming to an end, it may be time to purchase a fun and effective alarm clock for your child.

Clocky, the alarm clock on wheels

Clocky is the alarm clock that runs away beeping to get you out of bed. Most people "abuse" the snooze every morning. Clocky will never let you oversleep again. When you snooze, Clocky jumps off your nightstand and runs off squeaking, determined to get you out of bed in time. Clocky can be seen as the cheerful little robot that playfully teaches your child to get up on time.

The Story of Clocky

Clocky was created by Gauri Nanda in 2005 while she was a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Nanda was someone who frequently overslept and was often late for her classes in the morning. While laying in bed one morning, Nanda realized that the alarm clock was long overdue for a makeover. It didn't have to be a black box staring blankly at you. Combining her love for aesthetics and her passion for DIY, Clocky was then born.
